Grabbit is the on-demand delivery app that simplifies grocery shopping. We grab the products you need in less than 1 hour. For maximum flexibility, we allow customers to order from multiple stores – with no minimum order amount!
What’s the difference between client and shopper?
Our shopper places an order. Our Grabber is the one who delivers it to them.
How does Grabbit work?
Grabbit matches our Clients who need products with our Shoppers who deliver for them.
Is Grabbit available also for Android?
No – but we are working on it! We aim to have an Android version of the app by the end of the year.

So just download, upload your ID and we’ll authorise you in 24 hours. Then it’s time to accept the orders and start delivering!
Order as A Client
How much is the delivery fee?
It’s a variable fee based on your order, having said that it’s usually around £5.
How do I Register?
Fill in your phone number and address then select a password.
How do I add my address?
Before launching the order, you can change your delivery address by using your current position, enter your postcode or input your full address manually.
Is there a minimum order amount?
Absolutely not. We’ll help even if you only need one product – even it’s less than a £1!
How do I launch an order?
Just select a store and choose your favorite products. If you want to, select any other stores you’d like to use and choose again. You can also customize your selection at the Checkout.
How do I pay for my order?
Clients pay for their orders at the checkout using Credit Card or PayPal to Top -Up their digital wallet.
What is my digital wallet?
Every profile has its own personal digital wallet. Whenever our Grabber spends less than the estimated product cost, the paid difference comes back to your wallet.
What happens if you can’t match me with a Shopper?
Sadly, this means that you’re in a location we don’t currently cover, or that our Grabbers are all busy. However, we’re working on expanding locations, and with our great Grabber incentives, you shouldn’t run into this problem!
What happens to my money if you can’t match me with a Shopper?
Whenever new can’t find a Shopper the money goes back to your personal digital wallet.
Who delivers my order?
Our Grabber will deliver your order. We have an authorisation process to ensure that all our Grabbers are safe and trustworthy.
Who authorises the Shopper?
Our team verifies the identity of each individual Grabber before we activate them on the app. We do this over 24 hours. Currently we do not DBS check our Grabbers, but a lot of our students are indirectly DBS checked through university.
What kind of stores are listed on Grabbit?
We can pick from all stores. We listed the main stores in your area. If you are looking for a store that is not listed you can specify at checkout (notes section)
How do our Shoppers pay in-store?
Our Shoppers pay at the till upfront and get the money transferred once the order is delivered.
What happens if in my shop is a different price than on the app?
The prices you see on the product list are just estimated prices – they’re the budget that you give your Grabber. If the price is higher than your estimate our Grabber can find you a cheaper alternative.
If we’ve over-estimated, then the difference will be returned to your digital wallet. You just pay the delivery fee on top of your shopping, nothing more!
Do you charge the same prices as stores?
Yes. We start from their price. Sometimes this is subject to change e.g across locations like London or if there’s a sale or prices rise unexpectedly. Don’t worry, our question below answers what we’ll do in that case!
Why don’t we accept cash?
Our closed payment system through PayPal ensures that the Grabber always receives the money they’re due and the shopper can get it back if anything is wrong with their order.
Do I have to tip?
It’s always up to you. Our Shoppers appreciate a good tip and will definitely be grateful for it – and we promise it will go 100% to your Grabber. We’d always encourage a reasonable tip for a job well done if you can afford it.
How do we deliver?
It’s up to each individual Grabber. We have no compulsory vehicles for delivery. However, as our Shoppers are all local to you they usually deliver by foot or bike. We encourage this as we love and respect the environment.

How do I switch roles?
Go to the home screen and press either the client or shopper button.
How do I set my availability as a Shopper?
Go to the home screen and click on the ‘shopper’ button, then click on ‘change availability.’
I am always available, but I still don’t get orders?
The reasons for this could be:
- As the order matching process uses your current GPS position to match you with the order it could be that you are our of range (to fare away from the delivery address).
- Once the message pops up that you have been matched with an order you have 2minutes to accept or decline the order. If the system sees no reaction the job will be passed to the next shopper.
How much do I get paid?
You get 80% of the delivery fee of each order. Considering a delivery fee of £5 it`s the equivalent of £4 for each order. On average you can run up to 3 order in 1hour – this means you can get up to £12/hour.
Why do you need my bank details?
We need them to transfer the money from your digital wallet to your bank account.
How do I get paid?
We pay you commission for each job and pay you through the app.

Do I have to accept or decline the order?
That’s up to you. We encourage all Shoppers to accept the orders whenever they are set as available for receiving order.
How much time do I have to deliver the order?
This depends on the order – Either you have a time window of 1 hour (for each order delivered in less than 1 hour you get bonus points) or time window of 2 hours to respond to scheduled orders.
How do I pay in-store?
You pay at the till upfront and get the money transferred once the order is delivered.
How shall I deliver?
It’s up to you. We have no compulsory vehicles for delivery. Our Shoppers usually deliver by foot or bike. We encourage this as we love and respect the environment

What if something goes wrong?
If we have a no show or the delivery goes wrong for any reason we will solve it! Use our help button and Live chat on the app or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Whether it’s a delayed delivery or just a product you’d like added to our app, we’ll get through to you quickly and solve your problems with a friendly smile!

What if the Shopper does not show up? Do I lose money?
We guarantee your money won’t leave the system until you have your order in front of you. Therefore, if anything goes wrong the money will simply return to your wallet.
What if I’m not there when my delivery arrives?
Let us know as soon as possible on our live chat or e-mail address email@example.com. Our shoppers will try to call you to try and achieve a solution.
We’ll wait 5-10 minutes after which point our shopper will leave to complete their other orders.
